INTRODUCTION TO KEY CLUB

Overview- Edsel Ford offers a lot of unique opportunities for students through its extracurricular activities. The EFHS Key Club is the highlight of this feature. Well deserving of the spotlight, EFHS Key Club is involved in so many important projects, and it’s members work hard to serve the community. Key Club is an international club with over 276,000 members. It is a student led organization sponsored by Kiwanis International, and their goal is to encourage leadership through serving others.
More About Edsel Ford’s Own- Currently, Key Club is participating in a book drive and has recurring blanket making events to create and donate blankets to children in abuse situations. An incredible cause for an incredible group of students. Key Club will also be working with the student council for Edsel Ford’s upcoming charity week. Be sure to check it out. Edsel Ford’s Key Club is run by President Katherine Tran and Vice President Rasha Younes, and along with these wonderful girls, Key Club has a board of other excellent Edsel Ford students. Meetings are held biweekly on Wednesdays at 3pm in room A-207.
Why You Should Join- Key club is an excellent student organization with good leadership and with valuable opportunities. It generates community service hours and offers students a chance to give back to their communities by working on important projects. While the goal of joining the club is not to impress others, Key Club is a widely recognized organization that could prove useful for college applications. The club is also a very unique opportunity because not only is it a club for student involvement, but it's working for a cause much bigger than Edsel Ford—an opportunity that should be utilized by more students!
